Farming is just another term for grind. Your character can farm faction points, guild wars gold, green weapons or ecto. Alt tab back into Guild Wars and hit the tab key to target a Mob, hit the space key to attack it and then the skills keys you want to use, (click your mouse on the screen in several places to get your character moving if there are no targets within range). Heal yourself often if you have the skills. Repeat this 3 times in different combinations. It means to do something over and over again in order to gain wealth or points. Some players hate the boring repetitive nature of farming.

I’m sorry, but that starter axe and flimsy paper armor he currently has just isn’t gonna cut it. Don’t worry though. The luxury items take a lot more guild wars gold, but that’s why they are luxury items.
